Back From the Sun, the New Chapter Begins

Alright guys… I’m back! Did you miss me? (I hope you got the reference.) Honestly, I needed this break more than I even realised. I spent three amazing weeks in Australia, and I know, I know, I promised I’d do “The Australia Diaries.” But truthfully? I didn’t have the time or the inclination. I was far too busy having fun, soaking up the sun, and letting myself just be. Life was full, exciting, and for once, my mind wasn’t racing ahead to what’s next.

I’ll still do a short blog soon with everything I discovered (and all the little thoughts I had along the way), but for now, let’s just say, I completely get the hype. I think I was born for a life in the sun, by the beach, barefoot with salty hair and not a care. If it weren’t for my friends and family being here, I’d probably already be applying for a visa.

But for now, I’m back, in cold, grey, dreary Britain and yes, once again, job hunting. It’s not all doom and gloom though. Something’s changed. For the first time, I feel like I genuinely know what I’m looking for. I know the kind of environment I’ll thrive in, the type of people I want around me, and what I’ll no longer settle for. I want to build a life that makes me proud, one filled with joy, purpose, and balance. I want to cut out the negativity and grow into the happy, healthy version of myself I know is waiting on the sidelines.

The job hunt definitely won’t be balls of fun, but I’ll be documenting the journey right here, the highs, the lows, the awkward interviews, and the ADHD-fuelled overthinking that always manages to sneak in.

Here’s to new beginnings (again), post-holiday clarity, and giving this next chapter everything I’ve got.
